| Platform | Minimum Version |
|---|---|
| Android | API level 23 (Android 6.0 Marshmallow) or later |

Most devices manufactured from 2016 onwards meet these requirements. If you are unsure whether your device is compatible, check your operating system version in your phone's settings.

ℹ️ Did you know?
For the best experience — especially when using RTK Bluetooth receivers and offline map caching — we recommend a device with at least 3 GB of RAM and 500 MB of free storage.
Signing In
Pasco SiteView uses the same account as Pasco Cloud and the SiteView web application. There is no separate registration.
- Open the app after installation
- Enter your email and password — the same credentials you use at app.pasco.cloud or siteview.pasco.cloud
- Tap Sign In
If you do not have an account yet, create one at app.pasco.cloud/register first, then sign in on the mobile app with those credentials.

💡 Tip
Your session persists between app launches. You only need to sign in once unless you explicitly log out or your session expires.
Initial Data Sync
After signing in for the first time, the app syncs your site data from the server. This includes your sites list, recent measurements, and any associated metadata. The initial sync requires an internet connection and typically completes within a few seconds.
Once synced, much of this data is stored locally so that subsequent app launches are faster and you can access your sites even with limited connectivity.
Permissions
The app requests several permissions to function properly. You can grant these when prompted or enable them later in your device settings:
| Permission | Why It Is Needed |
|---|---|
| Location (GPS) | Required for displaying your position on the map, capturing GPS points, and recording coordinates with measurements |
| Bluetooth | Required for connecting to RTK GNSS receivers for high-accuracy positioning |
| Storage | Used for caching map tiles for offline use and storing local measurement data |

⚠️ Watch out!
If you deny the location permission, the app will still function for browsing sites and viewing data, but you will not be able to capture GPS points or see your live position on the map. Grant location access when prompted for the full experience.
On Android, you may also be asked for Nearby Devices permission, which is required for Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) scanning to discover RTK receivers.
App Overview
Once signed in, the app provides four main areas of functionality:
Sites
Browse all your construction sites in a list or on an interactive map. Search by name, filter by status, and tap through to any site's detail view.
Map
A full-screen map showing your sites as pins, your live GPS position, and any cached offline tiles. Switch between street, topographic, and satellite base maps.
Point Capture
Capture GPS coordinates from your phone's built-in receiver or a connected RTK Bluetooth device. Label, code, and annotate each point. Captured points sync to the SiteView web app automatically.
Measurements
View saved measurements and take distance measurements between captured points or map locations. Results include horizontal distance, bearing, and elevation difference.
