Sites
Site Register
The Site Register is your central list of all construction sites in SiteView. From here you can browse existing sites, filter by status, create new sites, and navigate to any site's detail page and 3D map view.

Browsing Sites
The Site Register displays all sites you have access to. Each site card shows the site name, status badge, location summary, and quick stats such as the number of surveys and measurements.
Status Tabs
Filter the site list by status using the tabs at the top of the page:
| Tab | What It Shows |
|---|---|
| All | Every site regardless of status |
| Active | Sites where work is currently underway |
| On Hold | Sites where work is temporarily paused |
| Completed | Sites where all field work is finished |
| Archived | Sites that have been closed out and hidden from the default view |
Selecting a tab updates the list immediately. The count badge on each tab shows how many sites match that status.
Search
Use the search bar to find sites by name. The search filters the current tab's results in real time as you type.
Sorting
Sort the site list using the sort controls:
- Name — alphabetical order (A-Z or Z-A)
- Date — by creation date (newest or oldest first)
- Status — grouped by status in lifecycle order
Pagination
When you have many sites, the list is paginated. Use the page controls at the bottom to navigate between pages.
Creating a New Site
Click the Create Site button at the top of the register. The creation form includes:
- Name (required) — a clear, identifiable name for the construction site
- Description — a summary of the site's purpose or scope of works
- Location — the site address or locality
- Tags — freeform labels for categorising sites (e.g., "road", "subdivision", "bridge")
- Project link — optionally link the site to a Pasco Cloud project

💡 Tip
If you navigate to SiteView from a project in Pasco Cloud, the project link is pre-filled automatically. This saves time and keeps your site data connected to the right project from the start.
After creating the site, you are taken directly to the Site Detail Page where you can start uploading survey data and design files.
Editing a Site
To edit an existing site, open its detail page and click Edit. You can update the name, description, location, tags, and project link at any time. Changes are saved immediately.
Deleting a Site
To delete a site, open its detail page and use the delete action in the site menu.

⚠️ Watch out!
Deleting a site is permanent and cascades to all associated data. This includes every survey (with its orthophotos, point clouds, and DEMs), every measurement, and every design surface uploaded to that site. Make sure you no longer need any of this data before confirming the deletion.
Project Linking
Sites can be linked to a Pasco Cloud project. This connection appears on the site detail page and provides context about which project the survey work relates to.
When creating a site from within a project context, the project link is automatically pre-filled. You can also add or change the project link later by editing the site.

ℹ️ Did you know?
Project linking is optional. Standalone sites that are not associated with a Pasco Cloud project work exactly the same way — the link simply provides an organisational connection between the two systems.
